ABOUT THIS SERVICE

Breast massage brings nourishment and awareness to a place of the body that has been historically shunned and sexualized by our current society. Reclaiming the heart space starts with a reconnection to the breasts and their multi-faceted purpose in women’s lives. In addition to nurturing the energetic and emotional part of the body, breast massage can also help support healthy breathing, posture, lactation, the circulation of blood and lymph and subsequently the immune system; recovery from mastectomy or other scar tissue from surgeries or injuries; and provide relief from stress and tension. This modality can be integrated into any bodywork session.

Breast checks include utilizing bodywork techniques intended to move stuck lymph, checking the breast tissue for cysts and possible cancerous lumps, and education regarding continued self-care of the breasts.
